A typical IVF cycle takes about 8-9 weeks form start to finish with gap in between. Here is the simple breakdown : 10 to 14 days Controlled Ovarian Stimulation, in this time injection is given to develop eggs and the growth of eggs is monitored by TVS in intervals. At Day 14 / 15 from start of injection/stimulation egg retrieval is done under light anaesthesia so that you can go home safely with an attendant at same day at few hours later but donot feel any pain during the procedure of ovum pick up. On 6th day after pick-up you can contact us and know the embryo development status. After Ovum Pick up you will get your period and asked to attend clinic on Day-1/2/3/4 of your menstrual cycle.Then we start Endometrial Preparation. It takes around 14 to 15 days to get the endometrium ready and then Embryo Transfer is done.
